Wow! My blog has been up for just a little over a week. I am very excited about this journey and have lots of projects planned and tips & ideas I want to share! In this post, I’m going to share things I’ve learned from others this week.
After checking my email every morning, I start to read my favorite blogs. Without fail, before I’m finished I’ve added a bunch of new projects to my ever growing “must-try-this” list. There are so many talented people out there doing some incredibly creative things. Each Saturday I want to highlight some of my favorites from the week. Still haven’t come up with a catchy name for this weekly post, but I’ll keep working on it. In the meantime, I’m just going to call it my Picks of the Week.

She shows us a simple way to make short standard baseboards look taller. I love projects that are easy and have such major impact. Make Baseboards Look Taller Tutorial
Lots of times when I ‘m shopping for a rug, I find one that is “that close”, but lacks a color that I really want to bring out in my space. DIY Showoff shares a great idea for adding a pop of color to any rug you buy. Add Color to Any Rug Tutorial
Now that I am so inspired, I can’t wait to get to work on some of my own projects that I can share with you! Have a great weekend!
