Fall Decorating Ideas
This lovely fall vignette is from Nashville Pug. It looks like it’s straight out of Pottery Barn, but it was actually made with lanterns from Lowe’s updated with oil rubbed bronze spray paint. Then accented with inexpensive accessories bought on sale at a craft store.
Love this idea for the mantel. Aunt Ruthie’s Sugarpie Farmhouse mixed natural branches and lighted ones in a galvanized bucket to create this festive fall decor. I have several of these lighted in branches in various places in my home and they create such a lovely glow.
I’m going to have to try this idea from Martha Stewart. A grapevine wreath is illuminated with tea lights set inside tiny pumpkins and adorned with fall leaves. It’s then suspended from the ceiling with wire and a hook. I love how warm and inviting it looks.
Hurricane lamps are one of the most versatile decorating accessories. They’re not expensive and you can change them out for every season. Here My Heart’s Desire has placed a tall candle in the middle then carefully layered yellow popping corn, small read beans and green split peas around it. It’s finished off with a double string of jute. This is one I definitely want to try!
It doesn’t get any easier than this! Simply Designing added some fall leaves and pumpkins to two tall vases and wrapped some leaf garland around them as an accent. Simple can be beautiful!
This trio of wreaths made by The Sweet Survival brings a pop of fall color to these mirrors. All three were made for less than twenty dollars! Using grapevine wreaths, some wheat picks and ribbon, they’re inexpensive and very easy to make.
Here’s another super easy fall craft from Thrifty Decor Chick. These cute candy corns are made from 3 Styrofoam cones wrapped in colored yarn. It’s that simple!
