All White Rooms. On Monday I shared interior designers’ top picks for white paint colors. To follow it up and offer you even more inspiration, today I have some beautiful all-white rooms for you. Because white is such a versatile color, I’ve tried to include lots of different design styles.
I’ve heard people comment that an all-white room is dull. Decorating in all-white is anything but boring. You don’t have to stick with the same shade of white for everything. There are so many different colors of white, you could use several of them in one room and the result is amazing. Even if you did use one color, for example bright white, there are still many ways to make it interesting. The most important point to remember when decorating a room in all-white is to use different textures. The textures are what will give the room depth, interest and warmth. Mix up textures like a silk pillow with a flokati throw. Bringing in natural elements such as sisal rugs, wood furniture and plants is also a great way to add texture and warmth to an all-white room.
If going all-white is too much for you, break it up by adding pops of color. With a backdrop of white, you can change out the accessories, pillows, rugs, etc. to go with the season or a special holiday.
Should you like the look of all-white but are worried about fabrics getting dirty, use white slipcovers. Most white slipcovers can be thrown in the washing machine with a little bleach and they come out looking brand spankin’ new. The same goes for bedding, pillow covers and curtains. Just make sure they’re machine washable before you buy them.
All White Rooms
Have you ever decorated a room all in white? Which one of the rooms shown do you like the best?

I like all the rooms but could never imagine any of these rooms in my house in a million years. All I can see is red kool-aid stains, dog barf and muddy cleats. Nightmare!
Lol, Missi! You always make me laugh!
Great post Peggy. Texture is key! I adore white rooms and painted my bedroom white last year and now I’m all about color! Lol Love your blog by the way!
Thank you so much, Luci. So glad you like the blog! Part of the fun of decorating is redecorating.
