Cottage Style Homes: East Hampton Home Tour

My daughter and I were discussing different design styles the other day. As an interior decorator, I have the opportunity to work with all different styles. It’s one of my favorite things about the job. My daughter and I both agreed that we really like the look of cottage style homes. With that on my mind, I was delighted when I happened upon this fabulous East Hampton, New York home featured at Traditional Home.

Cottage Style Homes: East Hampton Home Tour

Built in the 1920’s, this home underwent a complete makeover which included new additions.  The owners, she’s an interior designer and he’s a former art dealer, acted as their own general contractors. Because of this, the process was completed in only 3 months time. In the additional spaces the homeowners made sure period details, such as moldings and millwork, were consistent with those used in the original house.

Thank you, Carolyn. Glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately, there was no information available for the windows in this house. I’d recommend contacting a window supply company and sharing the photos with them. They’ll be able to direct you to what you’re looking for. 🙂
