Kitchen Photos: 18 Kitchens You’re Going to Love

The kitchen has been said to be the “heart of the home” and that phrase really makes sense. Whenever we have company, everyone seems to gravitate to the kitchen. Besides our porch, it’s the most popular room in the house. When I tour a home, the kitchen is one of the first rooms I flock to. I can’t wait to see what finishes were chosen, what color the cabinets are, what special little gems it may be hiding. There are so many amazing design options to choose from, it is so hard to settle on a favorite. Looking at kitchen photos never gets old for me. I am always discovering new ideas I would like to incorporate in my ever-growing dream kitchen. To inspire you, I thought it would be fun to share with you some of the gorgeous kitchens that I’ve found. 18 of them!

No matter what the style, the common element in all these kitchens is a center island (sometimes 2!) or some type of peninsula. I’d be lost without my kitchen island. I use it for everything. If you’re wanting to add an island to your kitchen, I have some great ideas for kitchen islands here!

Hey Peggy, nice website. I would have to say my favourite is the one with the red kitchen lamps – love that retro ambience. (It seems a kitchen with 2 different stained colors is all the rage at the moment.)
