If you do a lot of work from home like I do, then you can probably relate to how important it is to have a space you can feel comfortable working in. While work space and organization are definitely a priority, it’s no fun to come to a boring, drab room that doesn’t really inspire you. Right now, I’m in the midst of giving my office a makeover and I have had a lot of fun searching the internet for inspiration as I work on this on-going project. There are some really beautiful and creative ideas out there, so I’ve picked 10 of my favorite home office ideas to share with you.
Home Office Ideas & Inspiration
This small work space is chic and clean. I love the interesting little artifacts on the shelves and that great pinboard for reminders and inspiration.
Monochromatic design at its finest. With all the rich lines and textures, this black and white office is anything but boring – how can it be with daring black walls? It’s a space either a man or woman could appreciate.
Do you have more than one person working in your home office at a time? This space demonstrates how to offer two work stations for multiple people and plenty of storage while still keeping everything stylish.
Masculinity meets elegance in this eclectic work space. By setting a large piece of art on the floor as you see here, you accomplish a very relaxed, casual feel.
Turning an average closet into a work space is easy and functional if you don’t have space for an entire room to devote as an office. Love the wallpaper.
Even a corner of a studio apartment can be turned into your own little home office. The vintage touches in this space give it so much character, from the dress form to that impressive mirror.
This collaborative space is so clean, fresh and open, it would be hard not to feel inspired there. I love the window seat for breaks and the beautifully organized closet.
The clever designers of this space used two desks to elevate a custom-built desk top with a cubby for easy accessibility to work materials.
