It’s the weekend; that means it’s time for more featured DIY home decor projects. DIY projects are one of the best ways to save money when you’re decorating on a budget. Plus, they can be a lot of fun to do – even if you aren’t on a budget. In my search this week, I found some really creative projects that I think you’re going to love. Follow the link below each picture for a detailed tutorial and more information on the project.
DIY Home Decor
1 I love this one! KariAnne created a unique clock using an old bicycle wheel and some vintage rulers for hands. Then she hung it on a chalkboard and wrote out the numbers. I’d love to try making this one sometime!
2 Are you looking for a rustic console table? Ana shows you how you can make one yourself. This tutorial breaks it down into simple, easy-to-understand steps. Every time I look at her site, I find another project that has me saying, “I can build that!”
3 These brass side tables were inspired by a Jonathan Adler design. Emma shows you how easily you can make them for your home. And at a fraction of the price!
4 What do you do with old crutches? Make a shelf unit, of course. That’s exactly what Jane did with an old pair she had stored in her basement. And it’s so easy!
5 Vintage signs are very popular. And they can cost quite a bit depending on the condition. Save some money and make a statement of your own by making one yourself. Guest blogger Marie shows you how.
I’m always looking for creative DIY home decor projects to feature here on the blog. If you have a fun project that you shared on your blog or saw one on your favorite blog, I’d love to hear about it! Send me an email with your recommendations.
