Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and I’ve been seeing a lot of adorable decorating ideas. The romantic table settings are my favorite. (Because you know how much I love tabletops!) I’ve seen inspiring dining tables that have styles ranging everywhere from casual and quirky to glamorous and elegant. No matter who you are sharing the holiday with or what your style may be, there is something out there for you to add some festive spirit to your table. Many of these don’t have to be reserved just for Valentine’s Day ─ any romantic meal will do.
Romantic Table Settings
Some unique and charming inspiration comes from this wedding reception table. Hang cute photos of you and your sweetheart (or the guests at your dinner party) from a light fixture or in the case of this example, an adorable reclaimed ladder. X’s and O’s sprinkled throughout add a bit of whimsy.
Sparkly red place mats pop against a houndstooth table cloth in this cute and romantic set-up. Some velvet fabric creates a luxurious centerpiece that is very simple to replicate and looks great beneath the candles and decor.
Here is an adorable table setting that oozes Valentine’s Day spirit. Letters spelling out “LOVE” or any suitable phrase look great as part of a centerpiece.
A pink floral palette pops against a baby blue table cloth in this sweetly romantic table setting. The pattern on the plates is beautiful enough to be the focal point, while the rest of the table serves to bring that pattern to life with flower petals and sweets.
A journal makes a great gift for guests to write poems, notes, or perhaps some other fun topic given at the dinner party. What’s nice about this table setting is that it is understated yet wonderfully romantic.
This lovely table setting features whimsical elements such as lace, cupcakes, little turquoise vases, and even an antler among a spring color palette. It is truly beautiful how it has all come together.

A Valentine’s Day table setting doesn’t have to be fancy. This cute table setting keeps things simple with chargers featuring little hearts and a festive napkin.
Gold, pink, and pops of red make this setting glamorous and chic. The metallic stripes are a great casual touch, while the ornament in the center of the plate and a bow on the silverware makes the entire setting feel special.
