I’m very excited to announce the launch of my book, The Moving Handbook! This book is designed to prepare you for the process of buying and selling a home, and helps you organize your move. As some of you may know, I began writing this moving guide several years ago but life kept getting in the way of my working on it full time. Tenacity finally won out and it launched the end of last month.
The Moving Handbook
My “author’s message” on The Moving Handbook website really sums up why I wrote the book and what it’s all about. Here’s an excerpt:
“From mid 2004 to early 2010, we bought and sold a few houses and rented in between… All in all, during that time I handled over a dozen moves, a handful of home purchases and sales, several rentals and viewed hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of homes while house hunting. Needless to say, I picked up a few things along the way.
I was so busy with our daily life, the move, and we had so much stuff I needed some way to keep myself organized. Plus, there was so much to learn about buying and selling a home. I read everything I could on what to know when buying or selling property, and preparing and planning a move. There was a lot of information out there offering advice and suggestions, but there wasn’t one source that contained everything I needed. As an organizer, I created my own system. It worked so well for me I thought it might help others.
That is why I decided to write this book. I’ve done the research for you; now you don’t have to spend hours searching for it. You can get right to work taking care of more important things.”
The Moving Handbook is a comprehensive guide that was created to help save time, save money and eliminate a lot of stress when buying, selling, or renting a property and moving. It’s especially great for first-time home buyers. And if you’ve done it all before, you’ll wonder how you got along without it!
