A Catwoman-Inspired Halloween Dinner Party

Hello, everyone! I’m so excited to have joined the Decorating Files. I’ve watched my mom’s journey with this blog from the beginning and I’ve always had a deep admiration for what she has built and accomplished with it. To say I’m thrilled to be a part of it now is an understatement.

For one of my first posts, I couldn’t pass up the chance to do something fun for Halloween. It’s one of my favorite holidays because I love the chance to dress up, play a character, and deck out my home in creepy-chic decor. And of course, the parties. Though I haven’t hosted one myself yet, I’ve daydreamed about enough of them to have plans ready for the next several decades. There are endless ideas out there to inspire us, so I thought it would be interesting to take a character and explore how they might decorate their own Halloween party.

Today, I chose Catwoman, one of my favorite comic book characters. Her catlike qualities, villainous ways, and taste for decadence serve as the perfect inspiration for a chic Halloween dinner party. Keeping all this in mind, I chose sleek pieces with a glamorous touch befitting of the host.
