Decorating Files Has Moved!

I realize there haven’t been any posts since March, but there is a very good reason for that. I’ve been busy working on something very special. This year, I had wanted to bring something new to Decorating Files. As the months have gone on (it’s hard to believe it’s May already!) and the blog posts have been written, I realized things weren’t happening as I had envisioned. Something didn’t feel quite “right” anymore.

I started this blog because I wanted to share with you my knowledge and experience to help people make their homes a place they truly loved. I’ve had so much fun writing the blog and the response has been beyond anything I could have ever imagined. However, I’ve realized I want to offer more than just ideas and inspiration. That’s why it’s time for a big change.

This is the last post for Decorating Files. But don’t be sad – I’ve got some big news! Things aren’t ending, only changing – and for the better. Since the beginning of the year, I’ve been asking you what you were looking for the most from decorating blogs. I’ve listened to what you said. After much thought and planning, I realized to do things the right way with my new concept, we had to start out completely fresh – like “it’s time to move to a new place” fresh.

Starting today, you’ll find us at our new home, The Casa Collective.

At The Casa Collective, I’ll be showing you how to make design happen. I won’t just share a photo of a beautiful room for inspiration, but instead break down exactly why that room works, what you need to do to get the look, and where you can shop for it. I’ll bring you solutions for common decorating problems, details on organization, and a library full of free stuff you can use to decorate and get organized.

The Casa Collective is all about TEACHING you what you need to know. With the tools and resources I’ll be sharing with you, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge you need to transform your home and turn your inspiration into reality.

And what about that special something I promised you at the beginning of this year? It will be happening over at The Casa Collective. (The project in question is more than just the new blog.) I can’t wait to share it with you!

I want to thank you for following Decorating Files for the last 4 years. I look forward to bringing you even more at The Casa Collective. Head over there now and check it out! 🙂
